Blue Moon Dancing

This is a poem I wrote a while ago, I just dusted it off and thought I would share:)

Blue Moon Dancing
ca Moore

She danced
Within the blue of the moon
and revealed to him her sun.
Illuminating the garden path,
He was enchanted.

Opening the gate
She offered a taste,
The nectar of the Goddess.
“Drown within my fountain”
She whispered.

He consumed hungrily
Until the fountain was dry.
All that remained was
The Goddess in her garden,
Alone once more.

And she danced.
